  • Colour is light gold. Nose is not very intense but has a green herbaceousness, along with lime peel and as my friend Yiannis says fig-leave. Yet the aromatics seem subdued under the influence of some (not new) oak. Palate is more expressive, powerful with high acidity and quite fresh flavours for its age. The wine keeps well but I think I would have rather drank it younger. It lacks the finesse of a Ladoucette wine but it is good. I expected more.

  • Dark straw. Typical sauvignon blanc nose, with fig leaf, citrus fruit, floral scents, minerality and hints of oak. Medium-bodied with nice fruit and moutwatering acidity. Long aftertaste. Very enjoyable s.b.
