It’s a fine RRV Pinot. It really is too ripe with too much alcohol and not enough acid, but it has a classic cherry cola vanilla red fruit profile. It’s dark and full so it would appeal to drinkers who prefer bolder wines. It’s missing floral notes and acid which would make this more of a Pinot’s pinot.

A shocking wine for a Pinot. Super dark in color (somewhere between eggplant and raisin) with a big, bold body. Well integrated tannins, but still tasted youthful. More dark fruit flavors than red fruits. Weird, but enjoyable.

I'm not a Pinot fan, but we were having smoked duck breasts with cherry BBQ sauce, so...... Very dark - looks like a petite sirah. Cherries and a hint of smoke on the nose. A big wine - fairly tannic, with good structure. Huge fruit on the palate, cherries and hints of black fruits. Fairly light body with low viscosity, but aforementioned huge fruit hung around long enough to give it a decent finish. Very atypical for a Pinot. However, I'm guessing that another couple years in the bottle may tame it a little.

- Brick color with medium forming legs with a medium body - Drank first bottle with roasted chicken cooked on rotisserie over grill. Nice aroma, floral taste, balanced. Very good
