(Alvear Fino “En Rama”) Made from 100% Pedro Ximenez from Montilla. According to the back of the bottle this is the first vintage dated fino in modern history. his is an amazing wine. Value speaking I do not known if this can be beat. Beautiful nose of iodine, sea salt, roasted nuts, and a hint of caramel. Incredibly dry with great acids enhanching the flavors of macadaemia nuts, caramel, green olive and dried citrus fruits. Spicey on the finish with incredible persistence.

"bone dry" for sure. looks like a young sauternes, tastes like whiskey. certainly got my attention but im not sure if i like it or not.
