Realyl structured and built more like a Bordeaux blend in character than Aussie Shiraz. Quite enjoyable. Very savoury, black olive, blackberry, tapenade, and American oak dominant. Opened up to something better after a few hours. Served with shaved lamb 'fajitas' chinese style. Enjoyable and best with lots of air. Best sip was the last sip.

Cork broke in two but the Ah-So meant it all came out. Good colour with limited bricking. Nose is spot on. Dark berries and cherries. Mushroom, beef stock and tobacco. Chocolate. Aged wood. All this and more on the wonderfully complex palate. Lightly brandied plum. Beautiful acid support. Absolutely delicious. Featherlight tannin on the finish. Amazing wine!

This hillside he’s drinking beautifully. After 20 years, it still has dark purple color with no browning at all. The tannins are firm, but balanced and give a wonderful mouth feel. The fruit and earthtones are in great harmony. The wine has a long finish. This Kay is completely exceeding my expectations. I’m glad I still have more bottles.

Awesome again. Super elegant, super delicious, and super good with leg of lamb. We sure enjoyed tasting the evolution of this wine over the years - sad to see our last one go.
