  • Decanted for a few hours and enjoyed whats left of this 20 year old wine.

Obviously I'm drinking this last bottle almost 10 years past its suggested drinking window. The wine looks brick colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle.

As expected muted Fruit on the nose and the palate. Wine has survived well without any funky flavors though you can tell the wine is past its prime.

Its still good though If you have one of these in your cellar id suggest you DRINK NOW. These since they won't be getting any better.

  • ($20) Cotes du Rhone blend. 53% Grenache, 22% Mourvedre, 25% Syrah. Great nose - peppery animal fur, shoe leather. Nose is this wine's best asset.
