Medium yellow colour. In the nose, this bottle is a little less fascinating than the last one. It's quite classic, there's some lemon an yellow apple as well as fresh herbal notes of woodruff and bee balm. On the palate, it could have a bit more tension, the wine is rather sweet and is lacking acidity. There's a nice tart note in the finish though. The last bottle was much better, but I wouldn't write this off.

Blind. Had immediately on board a punting raft in Cambridge. Yellow wine with a petrolly, mature Riesling nose and the mild, miraculously multi-faceted yet humbly mild zesty taste of mature Mosel Rieslings. This was a great wine, a great experience to learn the basics of the art of punting on a fantastic, sunny and warm evening in Cambridge. KR was too kind.

Full yellow colour, rather light for the age. The nose is very much aged Riesling with a little petrol and bee wax on the first day. But there's also maracuja, lime zest and sea buckthorn shower cream. The nose is very etheral. On the palate, it's rather mild at first with quite some residual sugar. There's a papaya note as well as sea buckthorn again (only fruit, no soap). A tongue tingling acidity comes through in the end. After a few days in the fridge, the petrol notes have vanished, it lost some of its tension, but the tingling acidity remained. I liked this a lot.
