Tasted blind. Nose: Confectionery, vanilla, smells like a baker created it. Delicious nose. Darker berry pie. Palate: Lush and soft mouth-feel, berry pie, black currant, enough tannins and backbone to keep it from being flabby, medium-plus finish. Juicy and delicious. Following days: strong mint/eucalyptus, and a little tobacco leaf, chalkier but terrific mouth-feel. Lost the pie and vanilla, but still has the dark berry profile. Would certainly buy again. Very nice QPR. 91-92 pts.

Just opened, smokey and dark on the nose, showing its oak. And maybe showing its Walla Walla origins. Supple on the palate a bit of a hot and unresolved finish. Not bad at all for $19.99. In fact, very good stuff.

Black raspberry, a little eucalyptus, blueberries and violets with well integrated tannins. Drinking well right now.
