Quite ripe but not fruit bomb. Good balance and acidity, if just a little ripe (a little mind). Good nose of dark fruit and forest; nice touch of French oak (5 months); tannins in good balance; 100% tempranillo according to the label. Good all around wine that is a cracking food match for winter style food or charcuterie. One sniff and your transported back to Spain, so swill away and dream of backstreet bodegas and bars. Well made wine that is consistent if a quite straightforward example of the DO. At around £10 good value too.

Very dark purple. Expressive and youthful nose with black pepper, violet, dark berries, cherries and subtle oak. Med-bodied, nicely balanced with vibrant fruit, soft tannins and balancing acidity. Medium, spicy aftertaste. Nice wine to enjoy even slightly chilled during the summer.

Surprisingly good quaffer at a reasonable price. I was expecting quite a gloopy wine but this has enough acidity and tannins to make a well balanced wine. Short finish, but I found this a perfectly decent wine for £10.

Surprisingly good. Strong presence of fruit and a oak backbone (surprised that it's only 5 months).

Red and black berries (lots of them), good acidity and balance, better on the second day. Good qpr.
