  I agree with my tasting note of almost two years ago. Still tasting really good right now !!
  Near perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, a little dry, it cracked upon removal, but removed cleanly without drama. Consumed over two days. This balanced wine softens with air and develops nicely. Dark red color with mild oxidation and medium clarity. Aromas of blackberry and fig. Flavors of bramble berries, boysenberry, and black currant with a hint of chocolate. This gorgeous wine has a medium to long finish. This is a Zinfandel based field blend with primitivo and petite sirah; all head-trained and planted on a mix of dibble clay loam and haire gravelly loam soils. Located aside the foggy Russian River and bordering the town of Healdsburg, this 40 acre vineyard spans both Alexander and Russian River Valleys, planted as early as 1892. This age worthy wine has a few more years of life left. Unfortunately, this was my last bottle of this vintage.

  Tasting really good right now, fire up the grill !! Perfect cork after a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days. This balanced wine softens with air and develops nicely. Dark red color with little to no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of blackberry and fig. Flavors of bramble berries and black currant with a hint of chocolate. This Zinfandel based wine field blended with Petite Sirah and Primitivo has a medium to long finish. This age worthy wine has a few more years of life left.

  Drinks wonderfully now but probably hasn't yet reached its peak. Impossible for me to tease apart its constituent qualities, they are so beautifully melded. Not easily found, but worth the search. I have only 1 left, and doubt I'll have the patience to let another 2-years go by before drinking it.

  Rich and fruity. Soft tannins that could benefit from brief bottle aging. (Just came from the winery and I wanted to try it.)
