Still a compact dark red colour. Nose with blackberries, dark cherries, liquorice, some prunes, and hints of violets. Sweet on the palate with fine concentration of berries, the same berry notes as in the nose, smooth and well integrated tannins, well integrated alcohol, and a long and berry-dominated finish. Drinks reasonably well now, will mature further, 91 pts.
This port definitely exceeded my expectations based on previous notes from various sources. The excellent 2000 vintage is showing its strength also here, in a house perhaps more noted for its colheitas. I would say that this wine is now somewhere between young and mature. There aren't really any tannins left that need to be "filed down" for this port to be enjoyable, but it hasn't really acquired the character of a mature vintage port. Currently, I found it to go well with chocolate desserts (to me, a sign of youth) as well as cheeses.

Kinda wonky for a vintage port. Like it needed a little more umph. Lacking in the roundness, kinda austere, and really soft. I like their Colheitas better.

Importer tasting: Retailer tasting. Not many notes. There are some first signs of development, good dark fruits, sweetness and acidity. In this stage not extremely impressive. Maybe around 2020? 89 for today.

Very nice. Mature. Will keep at least 10 years. Feom 500 ml bottle.
