Just a few drops by the glass. Tasted separately during a whole week. Despite the time from this vintage, this bottle still represents that place right in the middle between Portuguese traditional style and modernity, between delicious fruit and an excessive weight.

FTLOP 18th Anniversary; 11/17/2023-11/19/2023 (Seattle, Washington): Dark pink-purple hue with slight garnet edges. This wine offers a nose of dark, brooding fruit. While it could use a touch more acidity, it delivers a "slurpable" profile with a very nice, long finish.

Wonderful Port Stored since 2005 in perfect conditions undisturbed Cork mouldy until last 1cm. Ullage grade A. I was worried! Bright polished deep tawny rim Decanted for 2 hours Solid sediment which made it easy to decant. Nose dominant raisins but complex rich ripe fruit too. No sign of cork contamination. Palate full bodied silky smooth, Tanins very smooth and still there. Still refreshing acidic undertones Incredible burst of dark fruit,, no signs of the mouldy cork Finish incredibly long 60 seconds + Best port I have ever tasted.

Holiday Virtual Tasting (Sammamish, Washington): Very dark amber-purple in color with clearing on the outer edges. Massive chocolate notes on the nose. Some slight herbal notes, purple fruit, and prune on the palate. Well-structured tannins with a touch of cranberry on the finish. 6 hour decant.

Fresh primary purple fruit on the palate. Great concentration of floral notes with chocolate and some hits of cranberry. Decanted 4.5 hours.
