quite lovely. well balanced with ripe fruit and acidity, clean and fresh, not so aggressive as to prevent apertif sipping, and flexible on the table. the fruit veers toward golden apples but the wine does not feel sweet.

Smells like Rye to me. Rye bread that is. Hmm... Very soft on the palate in terms of its acid. Reminds me more of a chenin than SB. This has got to be chenin. The dried apple nose, the viscosity, the richness. Can't be SB. Hmmm... very interesting for $16.

Really good, pure and natural sauvignon without any owerblown aromas or cat-pee notes. Rich fruity taste with just a hint of sweetness. Very enjoyable wine.
