Drank as a pop and pour so it did start out too cold and needed time in the glass to open up. This was a structured zin, not a fruit bomb, but quite delicious once it opened up.

Funky and stewy upon opening but it really smoothed out in about 2 hours. It's a well crafted Zin, but I'm hoping the change to estate fruit starting in 2010 will bring a little more depth and complexity to the game. This has a great, long finish but also has a little too much "Paso" for my taste (candy, strawberry, red licorice, etc)

Luscious royal ruby color with aromas of berry stem, cigar box and raspberry on the nose & palate. Velvety mouth feel and firm tannins combine well with additional flavors of blackberry, prune, dark chocolate and black cherry. Balanced and fairly elegant, this is by far one of the better offerings from Paso.
