Not sure why Parker saw as a 96+ it is good but not stratospheric. Dark nose of leather and graphite with forest floor, chocolate and dark cherry in the taste zone. The tannins are still present but I have m doubts that it will age well into the century per Mr. P. I have been sitting on this one for a while but glad I opened it up tonight. I wouldn't wait beyond the next 2-3 years. Side note the cork was uber soft (which for me is an instant concern) and did crack leaving lower 1/8 in the neck. Not sure if cork quality lead to my this barely acceptable score. I did like the wine but this was my entire supply so I can't be sure of the impact.

Espresso, capsicum, currant, oak nose. Sweet berry, currant palate with some nice poise and restraint. Dark chocolate, mineral, and menthol creep in on the finish. Drinking well and might have a very nice upside with more age.

Tannins fade quickly with aeration. Nice mountain fruit. Not overpowering.

A fantastic cabernet, showing black licorice, sea salt, and black oak. Needs a lot of age.
