  • Dinner at Our New Home (Our Place, Hong Kong): Semi-translucent blood red in colour. Nose is very rich deep strawberry and respberry...very rich and dark, refined and fresh. Palate is light, high-toned, high piano notes, bright acidity and well counterpointed by a tannic balance that made me think of the foliage from strawberries. Light on the back end and a touch dilute but nicely refined. No length...but very enjoyable over French cheese and fresh-baked French baguette. I preferred the bottle I had drank a couple of weeks ago, which benefited from more aeration and greater contemplation.

  • Dusky semi transparent ruby red colour. Nose is lovely alluring damp fern hillsides and rich ripe large strawberries. Palate is light, tight, nicely acidic bite strawberries and great tannic grip. Very harmonious and perfectly integrated but with loads of vibrancy and a lot of life ahead of it. Good light but persistent length. Superb diaphanous Burgundy elements and this is characteristic Chambolle- Musigny. Really impressive...I'm so pleased that I kept my hands off both my bottles for this long.
