Excelente presencia.

  • On pop, scents of black olive, floral, and earth - dirt garden - at the end a little maraschino cherry.

After 2 hour decant - scents of prunes and tobacco. Taste of prunes, oak and menthol. The wine has clearly lost some fruit, and the alcohol is intense. I imagine this bottle was much better 3-4 years ago, but still interesting. Medium weight with a short, hot finish.

    Drink up.

  • Great nose on opening. 45 min in the decanter and that turned to rubber as was the taste of the first glasses. About 45 min later mocha/chocolate and some fruit came up and left a long deep finish, but it was hard to shake off that first impression.
