  • Decanted, lots of sediment, a good sign. Nice color, nice nose. Right out of the bottle it is smooth and pleasant but quite light. I'm hoping it opens up to a bigger wine with some air, I have had that happen before. Meanwhile, we opened a Conundrum while we wait to see what develops. It's a wonderful PnP with a screw cap, so easy to open :)

The Saint-Joseph never really opened but did develop a bit more flavor. It's just a soft wine with a delicate taste that is merely pleasant.
