  Note from day 2. Nose: Medium expressiveness, red hots candy, cinnamon, and bright cherry. Palate: Medium bodied, cherry and strawberry attack, decent acidity, does a Houdini disappearing act thru the mid-palate and backend. Finish: Medium length dominated by sweet red fruit. Considering the price point it's actually a very decent effort.

  Popped and poured, consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium plus expressiveness of candied red fruit and smoke. Palate: Medium bodied, sweet red fruit and rock candy with undertones of smokey dark fruit. Though not complex this is simply tasty wine - a very nice effort for $14.

  Didn't quite measure up to previous bottle, less expressive nose, seemed almost watered down on the palate, but still enjoyable for $14.

  Popped and poured, consumed over 2 hours. Nose: Surprisingly expressive scents of bright red fruit - raspberries and strawberry,smokey sweet oak, and pine, Palate: Light bodied, creamy red fruit up front, muted through the mid-palate, but ends with an acidic red fruit kick in the back-end that dominates a medium length finish. A simple, but flavorful oak dominated pinot - nice QPR at $14 per.
