sauvignon not my favourite variety... fresh and fruity and still some excess acidity... may be better in a year or two. At P&L's after SA paired with three different vegetable quiches

My first Sancerre ever although not my first sauvignon (which is not my favourite variety). Pale yellow at the eye, pleasant and fruity. Enticing and best paired with mousse of asparagus

12.5% - Clear pale greenish lemon / clear, med intensity - grapefruit, fresh cut herbs / dry, med acidity, med- lean body, med intensity, med length, not much complexity but a very nice lingering citrus (mandarine, grapefruit), straighforward and pure, well defined.

Bright green aromas, frost, mineral and anise aromas. Palate adjusts to a little more fruit, but still rather mineral. Again the crossroad of mineral and anise drops off at a pleasurable skunky aroma. A nice, slim and clean body style. What more can you ask for in $20 Sancerre?
