Fruit-forward/warm climate but not jammy; notes of red raspberry, blackberry and black currant. A hint of herbs and earth. Integrated medium acid/tannins. Drinking well now with good balance.

Well, a few years later and down to my last bottle. Worth the way - this has really knit into a lovely bottle of wine, driven by bright syrah fruit and spiciness, but given a little palate heft from the petite. Elegant and Rhonish, really works with dinner - in this case grilled balsamic & brown sugar glazed pork tenderloin. Worth noting that the last glass well into the evening starts to shift a bit away from the bright fruit and more towards darker plums and prunes. Probably a good time for drinking! Yum.

Tangy and energetic black cherry fruit and herbs. Simple and straightforward, but delicious, with mouthwatering acidity.

Best showing yet for this vintage. Wonderful spice to the fruit. Good depth, length, and balance are all there now. Fantastic wine.

What I really need to do is lose a case of his wines for about two years and come back to it!
