  • From a wine geek's perspective of old vine and Pinot Gris from Burgundy, this is cool. But from a purely Pinot Gris perspective its just ok. Very light in color, light in taste, nothing offensive what so ever. Lacks depth, interest, varietal character, but other than that, its fine. lol, lol.

Kermit Lynch is the importer (he is trying to out Rosenthal Rosenthal on this one with his name top of the main front label as well as the back side one) and he probably got stuck with selling this here in the USA in order to get an allocation of Lucien Boillot's good stuff.....

Try it just to say you did, but don't add a lot to your cellar.

  • Pale lemon-yellow; initial timid nose of green apples & rainwater; very dry and displays a taut acidity but it also shows a certain roundness & some nutty notes that balance it out quite well. Good.
