I liked this but I found it more new world than old. Lots of varietal fruit. Syrah spice. A sweetness that I associate with Sta Rita Hills style. Maybe a bit hot, very well structured. Very enjoyable - it went fast.

I really enjoyed this. Medium body and color, spice, elegant, balanced. A nice cool climate syrah that offers an interesting counterpoint to the syrahs made from grapes grown more inland. Very different from the Verna's by Jaffurs, which is also fantastic.

Kinda funky at first, really took a few hours to open up, but then revealed a nice clean syrah. I'd put it in the 90-91 range
