As all my frineds know - i take a bottle of wine and coravin a glass each night while preparing dinner. My reward for being the chief cook around this house. I had not tried a bottle of this wine in almost 6 years and wow was I surprised. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark plums, a touch of expresso and baking spices. The finish was moderate to long and smooth. Just a really good bottle of wine at 13 years old and to think I paid less than $30 for it eight years ago. CT says I have two more bottles in my totally disorganized cellar and now I will have to go hunt for them. 91++

Pop and pour but best after about an hour of being opened. Fruit driven with good balance. Enough acidity to make it go well with food. Looking forward to my other two bottles over the next 3-5 years

Perfectly balanced. Deep blue and black fruit, olive, salt and dirt. At or nearing peak drinking window. Screaming QPR at $25. Decanted, served slightly cool.

Big bright fruit, black tea, coffee and asphalt. People thought it was a Pinot!

My last bottle of this tasty Syrah. Drinking well now but I would say it has several years left.
