Deep purple, visible sediment in bottle and glass. Med+/pronounced, black currant, black cherry, blackberry, black currant leaf, black pepper, leather, smoke, meat, jerky, olive, sea salinity.
Med+/high acid, med tannin, full body, dry, high alcohol. Great amount of tertiary notes with a lot of juicy fruit still. Quite leathery and meaty. Paired surprisingly well with Indian curries! I suspect it was big and bold enough to hand with the strong Indian spices. 95 pt

This wine has only got better from my last review. I can only imagine that the lower ratings of other raters have not learned that Turley wines are best served slightly chilled at historic room temperature. One bottle left and probably won't pop until 2029.

Opaque black ruby with a bright rim, gorgeous. The expressive nose gives up blackberry pie, mocha and sweet coffee with some faint floral tones. Rich and lush dark fruit with a long juicy finish. There’s a small amount of sediment so recommend filtering.

14.5% abv. Very dark purple, expressive aromas. On the palate, ripe plum, black pepper, a hint of white flowers and mint. Extreme intensity, depth and length. The wine is clearly in a long and delicious drinking window. Wild and powerful, but well behaved. Outstanding!
