Friendsgiving Dinner (Riverwoods, IL): Popped-and-poured. Dark color, low fill. Unlikely 100% Pinot Noir. Ripe black fruit with plenty of earth coming across as a charming red wine, just simple and fun, barely hinting at its label's implied pedigree. But certainly enjoyable. Oddly this had a plastic capsule that could not have been 1969 standard issue.

ERI Pre-Auction Tasting (Chicago Yacht Club): Wine tasting. Big bold fruit still on nose and palate, doing well behind rich earthy character. Still vibrant with good acidity. Reasonable length.

Lieu-dit Cru "Blind White" Dinner Featured the Wine of Henri Boillot (L2O - Chicago IL): Earthy start but also muddy. Faded quickly. Not sure if this is representative of a wine past its peak or just a bad bottle.
