#2 of 5 bottles; last bottle was in 2020. Cork fell apart upon opening but that was partially rushed technique on my part. Was worried it might be corked but thankfully wasn’t.
Gorgeous vivid dark garnet color but also transparent because of age and high abv. Nose initially had some barnyard but rich cranberry, dark berries and cherries as well, even a hint of mushroom or truffle. On the palatte, silky black cherry, blackberry and smoke. Cedar, oak cranberry acid and chocolate finish.

In a great place right now. Dark color, reserved nose. Spices, dark cherries, smooth tannins. Round and harmonious. Medium, silky finish. Many years ahead.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It tastes like oak and lead pencil. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Agree with Bubbachumps on notes; black cherry, smoke, very earthy, mild acidity and tannin's resolved and smooth.
There is solid depth, focus and clarity here with a long finish. Had without food and it did great, opening fully about an hour in and not showing any signs of letting off over the 4 hours we drank it.

Delicious! Classic Priorat with none of the prune or bandaid flavor that can be prevalent in lesser wines. In a great place now but still years to go. Great wine Albert!
