Domaine Georges Noellat only improved after 2010 when Maxime Cheurlin took over the estate. The 2004 was apparently vinified by the négociant the Domaine sold grapes to. Old style of Georges Noellat, rustic and lacking some tension. Maturing, showing a traditional profile of mellow berries, game and sous bois. Not a charming wine but surprisingly un-2004 like, no greenness or vegetal note at all. (85/100)
