Nose of prominent lychee along with butter and popcorn. Same on the palate; lychee along with peach and aged honey. Decent balance with good, although not striking, acidity.

Bought at auction and held for ~1 year. Opened during Christmas Eve dinner with the family to go with Christmas fruitcake and creme brûlée. Amber colored, enticing nose that hasn’t lost its florality, with tropical fruits, baking spices plus some vanilla/caramel undertones. Nice level of sweetness, not syrupy in any way, still enough acid to keep it balanced. Lingering complex finish. Really nice, everyone at the table enjoyed it. Seems like it has enough structure to keep holding on, but primary fruit is fading.

fresh, excellent acidity, floral and lovely - Gewurz is often too much for me, but the flavor profile is more subtle here and it works well in this dessert wine

ice showing. Firm acids for Gewurz, pineapple and lychee with some spicy notes. It doesn’t hold well overnight, but with dinner B+

Spectacularly fresh and light on its feet. The Gewurtztraminer character has faded to a really elegant point. Worth seeking out.
