Beautiful nose with grilled hazelnut, creme brulee, custard and burnt sugar on the nose. Palate has surprisingly good acidity in the context of a 98 white. It has good freshness and richness. A very nice surprise.

Pnp, sweet nose of ripe apple, tangerine, wet stone and floral aroma set in a golden hue. Almost bitter minerality on palate, quite concentrated and there fine balance of acidity and hint of sweet fruits. Medium finish but you just cannot put down the glass.

HDH auction tasting at Tru (Chicago, IL): Golden. Nose of golden raisins, dried apricots, and green apples, and definitely showing a bit of age. Almost a tinge of botrytis. The first impression on the palate is a Meursault of intense acidity with a very correct texture. A hint of creme brulee and tart stone fruit on the palate. Lengthy finish.

Deep golden color. Potent honey-laced citrus fruits and spice with a forward mineral component. Intense palate; maturing flavors. Large-scaled, with a an oily lanolin laden texture. Held and improved over several hours. Very nice wine.

Golden color. Ripe fruits, apple, asian pear and white flowers on the nose with wet rocks. Lush mouthfeel with refreshing acidity and fantastic minerality. As it sat in the glass, the aromas turned to more of a ginger-butter cookie. Delicious.
