Last bottle from this vintage and it seems it was the right time to drink it. The fruitiness has declined some and elft some space for acidity to push through. Still very good and enjoyable.

The New Traditional Winter Dinner - 1st one (Ulf and Maria S, Umeå, Sweden): Didn't write down my impressions on this one. Remember only that Ulf and I agreed that CdR are great for a good variation of foods, France's "chianti" and that this is a very fine, little modern, specimen of distinction. We agreed that this was a great CdR Villages. Nice body, great curves and small promise for the future. Our 3rd and final btl in 2015. All enjoyed this wine.

Clear, delineated, Grenache/Syrah with a great constitution. Red with still purplish streaks. Nose is M+ sized with young raw Syrah fruit and some mature darkness. Our btl gave less of those aromas than others mention. In the mouth this has jumping acids and enough tannin to make it interesting. Remained clear/pure throughout dinner. In spite of 4 hrs decant, it grew well throughout a long, slow dinner at Le Message (Yokohama). Wife disturbed by delineated acids to start with, but finally landed on 86p.

Very nice; shows complexity, minerals and good fruit; easily accessible now -- drink it while you wait for the CDP to mature.
