This was a pleasent surprice. A simple CdR has developed very nicely into something much bigger than expected. I would have taken this for Ch9dP any day. Lovely balance and still a LOT of life left. People claiming this was passed it's peak already years ago were wrong.

Surprisingly complex and really open for business, the 2007 Cuvée du Vatican CdRV delivers cool dark fruit and so much garrigue and thyme I am amazed. Completely integrated without any hard edges, this wine has teally benefitted from bottle age and is drinking perfectly right now. A super value for sure!

Getting tired. Nose is fine, but on the palate a bit hollow in the midsection and the alcohol comes trough on the end. Drink up!

Value for money! Dark red subtle fruity wine with a relatively long finish.

Might be just this single bottle but it seemed past its prime. The fruit was a lot thinner and some of the complexity was gone. More elegant though
