Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • This has one of those tiny, old school corks. But it was holding great. I'm starting to wonder how much this transform with age. This was very good but also quite the same in expression as the wines ten to twenty years younger I've had. More lean bodied of course. The tannin is still strong and actually somewhat astringent. Charcoal smoke, herbs, roasted cherry and soy. Very typical but maybe more dinner friendly now that the fruit has lost its flesh. Holds up overnight.
