Birthday 1st flight (red) I have not really had a Ponsot that truly impress me, be it older / younger, they normally hard likes a rock, except the 2008 Clos de la Roche which was utterly impressive and seductive. I put my bet on this 2007 as they are drinking well at this stage, and also my very 1st CSD from Ponsot, from 100+yrs old vines. I love CSD, for their elegance, finesse & subtleness. What I love about Burgundy is all here and this bottle did not disappoint, a truly memorable wine.

Have mixed experience with '00s Ponsot but this was great. Super elegant with impressive depth and length. Young but very approachable.
