Tasted this up along with a 2018 vintage, same producer, same wine… I honestly don’t see why you would want to wait 12 years with this style of wine. Still fresh, light and succulent but yet a slightly more muted and flat. I was a little disappointed by the fact that these wines (both in 2010 and 2018) didn’t really perform like the wines I tend to like - like Dutraive, Metras or Foillard - so I’ll guess I’ll have to wait +10 years for one of these wines to mature in my cellar. Preliminary conclusion: Drink young

Still drinking great, 10 years on. Wonderful fruity bouquet with a slight floral note. Hits the mouth with ripe, silky, and slightly juicy fruit. Good acidity and finish. Tannins very mellow.

Lovely dark garnet. Still nice sharp berries, cranberry, raspberry and blackberry. Lovely lively acidity. Good depth, good length. Some cured meats and hints of warm spices. Less lively, more mature but still very enjoyable.

Simple, smooth, cranberry & black raspberry with a touch of red cherry. Crisp - but not acidic enough to be crunchy - freshness. I've had Thivin's with greater depth. Expected a bit more from this vintage at this stage but a decent Cote de Brouilly. A good summer wine; I tried chilling it a little but it gave more at room temperature.

Still fresh fruit - raspberries, cranberries. Smooth and gentle. Was very special aged 10.
