  Pretty dark garnet in glass, aromas of red fruit and vanilla. Sort of a Super Tuscan profile, but with soft tannins, flavors of baked red fruit, berries, blackberries and plum pudding, ending on a very pleasant medium-plus finish. Wasn't thrilled with this a year after release, but the added 3 years in bottle really integrated the components, softened the palate and let the unusual blend showcase the tasty fruit profile.
