Intense nose of white flowers, juicy citrus fruits and fresh herbs.
Aristocratic mouth, enveloping touch announcing a juice of great density, very beautiful tension which unfolds a wine which seems to be not far from its peak. The balance between fat and acidity is ideal for bringing to life the floral aromas, a touch of spice, and above all a magnificent citrus fruit. The second part of the palate is more marked by wood and spices but the wine seems to have integrated it well and the whole remains harmonious. Beautiful finish always between richness and tension which lingers admirably.
Excellent Chevalier.

We tasted it at a nice Paris restaurant. Our menu was around fish and seafood. Nose medium intensity with note of white flowers and white fruit long intense. Palate high acidity long body white flowers with intense flavours. Finish long and persistent What a stunning wine could be drink now but could age st least 10 years. What a stunning wine during a leaf day

Thursday at June BYOB (June BYOB, Collingswood NJ): Brief note, brought to dinner. Offered nothing initially on the nose or palate, should have immediately decanted in retrospect. Within an hour the nose began showing citrus, fresh herbs, and the color came on also to a deep lemon. Medium bodied and in weight, more subtle flavors of spice, lemon and well integrated oak eventually came around. Nice enough but have had many 1er crus that easily equaled this bottle, including this domaine's 2012 Champ Gains and Clos St. Jean.

Deep golden. Matured beautifully and drinking effortlessly- superb Chevalier. More plush, a hint of butter.

2010 Great White Burgundy Dinner (Eli's Table - New York, NY): Drinkable, but much more mature than Grand Cru should be this young from a great vintage.
