Just taking on some decaying Autumnal leaf development. There are notes of graphite and spice and it has lovely plump, sweet fruit. It is generous and round with a nice balance between sweet and savoury flavours. Tannins are soft and length is pretty good. Close to peak drinking.

(Bouchard Père et Fils Nuits St.Georges Les Cailles) From the Southern part of NSG. Medium colour. Nose is reserved with some faint vanilla tones. Nicely concentrated fruit on the sweet palate. Medium tannins with quite good acidity. A persistent finish. This is good and quite drinkable already.
