  • Two glasses using coravin - drunk when poured. A rich red, turning brown / orange at the rim - mineral, medicinal nose with hint of dark fruit. fine tannins and good acidity in balance warm dark fruits on the front middle palate but a little thin at the end. This is delicate, burgundian and entirely drinkable, enjoyable but not great.

  • startede med at tro den var gået over og åbnede en ny flaske. lidt for portvinsagtig i duften. Men så skete der ting og sager og den endte med at være aftenens bedste vin. Elegant.

  • A very elegant wine, and maybe lighter than a typical Rotie. As mentioned previously, almost Burgundian in style, but no hiding from that whiffy barnyard nose. Drunk with a venison pie, but could have done with something even fuller bodied. Nice, not superb.

  • Oomph powerful yet restrained nose of leather , violets , loads of chicken poop. Wow. Superbly elegant and smooth. Unexpected elegance it's almost burgundish. Beautiful everywhere with everything tt I like. Perfumed in the nose and on the palate. Umami n BBQ pain grille with roasted mushrooms. Excellent treasure in the sand.

  • A big typical cote rotie with big funky barnyard, minerality, garrigue , sweaty socks and white peppers. Palate tastes softer than it smells with restrained fruit , bitter tea , more spices. Very country and village. A bit of the old fashioned cote rotie rather than parker like modernised one. Powedery tannins. Kinda chicken poopy. A little old fogey like but I think a very true terroir wine.
