tasted at bouchard's cellars in beaune. this is more like meursault than the 2006 Les Clous we tasted before this. rich and creamy mouth feel. strong wood that still needs time to resolve. figs, almond and butter. mouth coating but enough acidity to stay on the right side of cloying. needs a few years.
