agree with previous two notes. Raspberries cordial like without the backbone to prove it will go the two decades that the label intimates. Had to decant for two hours to blow off the oxy fizz on it, but then opened up nicely with a hard cheddar.

Strange wine this one, it has a flavour profile I can't quite place but not really what I was expecting for this blend and style. It has a greenness to it that I don't particularly enjoy and is missing that deep black fruit and length that go with the better wines. Not for me.

Very nice nose, quite like a rich New Zealand Pinot Noir. Forrest floor, cherries, cola, spice and almost a also a kind of shiraz viogner aspect. On the palate it's a fruit bomb, syrupy, cherries, port, raspberry liquorice.
Not a bad wine but really not my thing at all. Will not buy Rusden again after this the Chookshed and Black guts. All lacking any finesse and mildly sickly for my tastes. May have gotten better with air but I got bored and moved on.
