Best bottle yet. CT says I have one left but I'm not sure that's correct. These weren't great early on but it's been improving and this one was really solid. Good fruit with no signs of decline, decent acidity. Drinking above its lowly appellation.

Fresh and good nose right from the bottle. Not extremely expressive but easy going and charming. Palate is a bit acidic but has lots of power and more concentration than expected for a BR. Acidity mellows out a bit after an hour or two with air. Fine wine indeed.

Initial nose was tart and berry focused with earth and oak. Dry wine with red berries. Long body. Wine seemed to fade with time and gae way to less complexity.

Red berries and forest floor, with a touch of wood spices. Long, fresh with fine acidity and intensity, this one was beautiful. Had a bottle a couple of weeks ago which seemed more developed, but this one was still going strong. No need to wait though, this is lovely right now.

Fully mature, this now shows very well on the nose, but fades after a few hours. Red berries, forest floor, licorice and wood notes gives way to a fine attack and well rounded and pretty long flavors. As noted, I found that the nose faded away and it seemed also very developed on the palate, I assume that it is at or a little beyond peak (but may of course also have been a precocious bottle). Drink up.
