Post harvest rapid taste in the Hunter (Hunter Valley): On the nose plum, leather and sweet spice. In the mouth the wine is frothy and off dry with flavours of plums and black cherries, slight spice and very slight leather notes as well as some non-intrusive alcohol elements. Okay.

Interesting to say the least. A touch sweeter than most sparkling Shiraz but big on the nose and loads of fruit on the finish. Much better after opening for 30 minutes, corking, and revisiting the next day.
