My last bottle. Gold-lime colour. Initially muted on the nose but as it warmed up noticeable pinprick bubbles appeared in the glass - Residual CO2 after ten years! Honeycomb, red apple and lime in the mouth, all very pleasing and well balanced. Vague waft of kerosene but not overt. A broad, fat texture which softened the acidity (and maybe dampened down the slatey minerality I had hoped for) make this feel more luxurious than it ought to. Well kept bottles will be fine through to 2017 at least I should imagine.

Consumed over two days. Better on day 2. Reticent nose of green apple and kerosene. Palate of crisp green apple, kerosene/diesel, mint/eucalyptus, mouthfeel somewhere between kabinett and spatlese, long balanced finish. Beautiful now, but likely will improve with 5 years.

Greenish pale yellow color. Aromas of green apples, kerosine and white flowers. Crisp, sweet fruit in the mouth with excellent depth, balance and length. Elegant and refined. Still very young and fresh.

Rather broad flavours, green apples and high on the acidity scale but still lacking finesse. Decent enough but not compelling.
