  • Popped and poured without much in the way of expectations, and that's what came. Pretty much dead. Nice nose, with lots of sage and lemon. Flat on the palate, though, with a big gaping hole in the mid-palate. Talc, sage, very little fruit, some alcohol - just quite disjointed. Lacking acidity. Almost Alsatian, which is not a compliment from me. I love Martinelli, and this was probably good back in the day, but it's not now. $13 WB
