Cork broke on extraction but had done it job. Colour a dull browny red showing its age. Good alcohol gripped the glass as swirled. Nose disappointingly lacking of any hint of varietal character. Slightly musty. Drinkable but fast approaching a cliff. Smooth soft little tannins left. Went well wih lamb roast on Australia Day. Those holding stocks should investigate.

Christmas in July (Frank's place in Matraville): Blackcurrant, spice, biscuit, slight cream on the nose…In the mouth juicy blackcurrant strolls into fine textured tannins, very correct. Impressive

Brick red in colour, bright with little sediment. Good length, controlled tannins and good mouth feel.
