  Not merely a "good wine for the price" this is immensely enjoyable and still has a lot of time left in the bottle... 4-5 years minimum.
  
  Rich, black fruit and some pencil lead on the nose... palate is spicy, but also intense, syrupy fruit, now in the redder spectrum.
  
  Finish is medium length, and there is a lot of tannin present indicating some future potential.
  
  Silly this is a $12 wine. I had one bottle, then went back to the wine shop and bought the rest of their inventory.
