  • Wednesday, December 05, 2001 Pale moonlight color. Rich nose of ctirus, nuts and a hint of vanilla. Flavors of pineapple, toast, smoky mineral and chalk; all wonderfully dry. Just as good the second day with bacon and brie pasta. The smokiness of the bacon brought out the smokiness of the wine. 12/5-6. Many thanks to Florida Jim for the recommendation.
