Steely, slatey, limey, flowery. Moderate fruit intensity. Definitely doesn't taste old. good but not great. Nees more ethereal aromatics to rate higher - a tad heavy handed.

Petrol taint on opening which in glass disappears although other aged aroma remain. Still sharp citrus fruit in the mouth which indicates can go more years, but also a wine to drink now with food that needs a refreshing sharp edge and some acid to balance.

This is now drinking beautifully. Slightly honeyed, very oily, perfumed, a touch of honeysuckle, some minerals. Starting to round out beautifully but could probably go on for a year or three yet.

Silver with hints of gold. Big petrol nose, roses and honeysuckle; absolutely typical Riesling - if anything, possibly slightly over-the-top nose. That Riesling taste paradox of absolute mineral dryness with an unctuous sweetness. Apples, tropical fruits, mandarins and gooseberries. Excellent with sweet/sour/salty/spicy Asian food.

Excellent Riesling with Asian (southeast) food. On the nose, petrol notes underpin floral (rosewater and honeysuckle). Good sweet/sour flavours.
