Still very much alive and quite delicious though fading away graciously. Incredible nose of confit citrus peel and nuts. Palate not quite up to the nose. Old chardonnay marmalade and walnuts. Damn good for 17 year old burg. No premox at all and a delightful wine with a pan-roasted cod loin basted in butter.

Opened at short notice when the de Moor proved dull - this was very pleasant - lean chardonnay fruit with a citrus twist, classily oaked, but somehow lower contrast than it should be

Oh my, the grip, savouriness and minerality here are stunning, the oak and fruit in perfect balance, very exciting

Bursting with life, salty, mineral puligny, deep, bags of fruit to balance the ample oak, gorgeous
