  • So here's my theory on white burgundy: when it's drinking, drink it.

My note (could be above or below) is from this morning, as I was clearing a couple of bottles off the countertop and taking them out of inventory.

Three hours later, my wife said "we should have some wine with lunch." Out of many bottles of white wine in the cellar... we went right back to this one. The woman's too good for me, and the wine is just right. Enjoy!

  • Ready to drink for my palate. Held up through six hours of sampling which hints at loads of future development. Lacked the haunting, ghostly mineral quality of that one miracle Caillerets that haunts me (doesn't everyone have a White Burgundy experience that haunts them?) but certainly worth having a drink now. This was probably open for 30 minutes before I really stuck my nose into it, but by then it was rocking and rolling. Sorry, all, for informality of note - bottom line is open this if you're curious because you won't be disappointed.
